Class registrations are handled on a ‘first-come, first-serve’ basis. Classes have limited enrollment and specific registration cut-off dates.
Learn to Swim Hotline
To find out about Learn to Swim cancellations due to the weather, please call 972-292-6666 (Press 6 for Learn to Swim). The hotline will be updated frequently. If classes are cancelled due to any other reason (i.e. pool repairs, water temperature, etc.) a Learn to Swim staff member will call you. Please be sure that your account information is up-to-date.
Waiting Lists
Due to instructor/participant ratios, each class and program will have a maximum number of spots available. Once the class maximum has been reached, subsequent registrants will be notified that the class is full and you will have the option to be placed on a waiting list. Should spots become available, program openings will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis from registrants that appear on the waiting list. If you are contacted off a waitlist, payment must be made within 24 hours at the Frisco Athletic Center.
Quality Assurance
Try our classes. If, after attending the first class, you are not happy with the quality of the program, call us right away. Tell us what is wrong so we can make it right. There are no refunds for non-attendance, one-day classes or material fees.
Cancellations
The Parks & Recreation Department reserves the right to cancel any class, program or activity due to weather, failure to meet minimum registration requirements, and situations beyond our control. In the event a class is cancelled, you will be notified and a full refund will be issued.
Sibling Policy
The structure of the parent/child classes are designed for direct interaction between one parent and one child. We require only children who are of the appropriate age and who are registered for the class attend the program. Other siblings or children are not permitted in the classroom, nor are they allowed to be unattended in the lobby outside of the class.
Returned Check Policy
A $35 service charge will be assessed for any returned check.
